Conan O’Brien: Sticking Up for His Staff

When Conan O’Brien moved to the West Coast to take over the “Tonight Show” gig, over 200 staff members went with him.  And now that he’s getting ditched by NBC, he’s making sure his workers aren’t left out in the cold.

According to a report, the crimson-haired comedian won’t budge on negotiations with NBC until they agree to pay adequate severance for his staff, in addition to his $32+ million package.

However, NBC says they’ve already agreed to take care of O’Brien’s workers.  “[I]t was Conan’s decision to leave NBC that resulted in nearly 200 of his staffers being out of work.”

“We have already agreed to pay millions of dollars to compensate every one of them. This latest posturing is nothing more than a PR ploy.”

As for Conan’s future television plans, he joked, “Make a big move to Fox- Megan Fox.”
