My Christmas Decorations
Have you realized that as we are growing up, the year seems to pass by faster and faster in your life? I have the feeling. It’s coming to Christmas without notice. If you weren’t a festival people, you’ll feel its nothing big deal about the holiday. But I’m a festival mania. I love all kinds of festivals. Festivals make me feel there are still something special in our daily busy common lives.
About the coming Christmas, I will do the annual things. The first important one is the decorations in my house.
My house isn’t a very big one. But I have a full box of Christmas decorations. There are the normal things in it, such as the decorating balls, snows flats, tiny little fine wrapped boxes, and little snow men. My favorite one is the lovely reindeer which is a gift from an old friend. She was far away from me; we get in touch with the phone and the net. But every Christmas with hanging up the reindeer, I will miss her very much.
To be frank, I always like the Christmas decoration to be similar every year. For I can feel warm and comfortable and buried in happy memories with the decorations. So I will get my house decorated at early December, and put the decorations back after the festival.
You can decorate your own house with whatever you like. Such as my house, my friends always like some places. The first one of them is the door. I always hang up a big beautiful floral hoop in front of the door. The bell in it will ring whenever you open or close the door. The clear bell ring seems can bring everyone who has past the door a good luck. The second one is the reindeer that I mentioned. It will be hang on the Christmas tree with other decorations, but it’s always the most eyes catching one. Another place is my living room decorations. Because I have a suit of clothes decoration with Christmas sense in red and green color. I will change them on in Christmas season. The sofa, the table and the curtains will be in holiday mood.
And my habit is to buy some new things special every year to add something new in my house each Christmas. I haven’t found it yet this year. Maybe you have some good ideas.
