If you are students, the rich resources of your school can provide you some opportunities of reading books at a lower expense. Let me give you some examples in the world famous universities. Harvard University Library which the most historic in America, was found in 1638.A large store of books, a lot of rare manuscripts of world-famous persons and some valuable books must be a feast for your eyes. Another example is Oxford library—the second largest library in Britain. With a history of 500 years, it has an extremely rich and diverse library service provided by over one hundred libraries. Until the late 1950s, it was the largest library of the Britain. In addition, some china’s universities also own their large libraries.
If you have no chance to study there, don’t feel pity! Become a member of a state or city library, and then use your library card to borrow the books which you want to read. The shortcoming of borrowing books is that you have a deadline to return the books.
As the high pace of modern life, reading books on-line is a convenient and economical. Or download some E-books from Internet and then read them at any time you are free. Compared to paper books, E-books have no weight and no thick. Store them in your MP3 player or in your mobile phones. When waiting for a bus on the way of journey, you can use them as your entertainment. It also breaks the time of limitation.
Have you heard the story of drift bottle? Write your dream on the paper inside the bottle, throw it into the sea. Maybe a person who share with the same dream with your will find it. How about the books? The activity of “Drifting Books” is either an economical way to read some books. For example, in 2009, a similar activity held by Stations of Nanjing Subway and Nanjing phoenix book mall. Providing pay for a deposit and show your perfect instrument, you can borrow the books from the stations. Maybe you can found your own Drifting books Camps with other book fans. Change your books, meanwhile, exchange of your ideas.
